I think that todays lessons in comparisson to the ones from Andy Griffith have changed in the way we teach them in the sitcom. They're normaly not just said out plainly for you to easily figure out the idea like in Griffith. In the values seen are more with a materialistic fashion instead of learning lessons. Mostly on sitcoms its just about wanting more and more and not getting enough or too much. Yet in older shows they did more morals than social acceptances. A lot more sitcoms were family orientated and kid friendly than they are now. Now it seems as if it doesnt really matter if the kid watches since we're so relaxed.
